The revealing of the Glo Data Revolution was done together with the unveiling of an exclusive collaboration with Iflix, the world's popular entertainment services for developing markets, which gives the teeming customers of the telecoms company, 60 days of unlimited access to the world's finest television programmes, series, full movies, cartoons and more on their phones.

Speaking at the launch of the super-sized package on Last week at the firm's headquarters, Mike Adenuga Towers in Lagos, Globacom's Regional Director, Planning and Technical, Sanjib Roy pointed out that the new package gives both new and existing customers who renew their subscriptions before expiration up to 4GB of Internet data for just N1,000. This 4GB data, for instance, equates to about 4,000 pages of web browsing.

In the same way, the 12.5 GB is offered for N2,500 data bundle. This, for example, can be used for 250 hours of content program. Equally, as subscribers stand to get 24GB for N4,000 and a massive 30GB for N5,000. The 30GB for N5,000 can let the subscriber enjoy videos for over 600 hours, for example.

The Globacom top manager added that for smaller plans, new customers and those who renew with N100 subscription will get a 90MB bundle; while for N200, they will receive 250MB with which they can send 400 emails as an example. For N500, the subscriber can get a massive 2GB of data, which the customers can use to do 10 days of unlimited chatting if need be, Roy said.

According to him, the new package offers are remarkable and the most significant thing in Nigeria's telecom history, adding that "never has the customer to any mobile network in Nigeria had it so big and so good. All you have to do is get on the Glo data network and stay on by continuously renewing your subscription plan to enjoy the benefits that give you the unfair advantage over other data consumers".

Clarifying the Glo-Iflix partnership, which is accessible on the Glo Café platform, Roy stated that beyond giving subscribers of the telecoms company, 60 days of unlimited easy access to the world's best television programmes, tv series, movies, cartoons and more on their phones, immediately after the 60 days, the Glo customers will get access at a special discount rate price of N100 monthly only.
